The North Platte starts in Colorado and
wanders north into Wyoming. One of the most popular areas to fish is
near Saratoga. These shots are taken south of Saratoga, a popular area
for float and wade fishing. Soon all the ice will be gone and the river
will be ready for floating and fishing.
These great photos were taken by professional
photographer Jack Olson. Although Jack's not a fisherman, he loves
hiking and taking pictures of rivers.
Jack Olson has had his photos published in numerous publications
including National Geographic, Reader' Digest, Audubon, Outside, and
Natural History.
